Most notary websites list every service imaginable and work out the details after you call. This page exists so you never waste a phone call on us. Here is exactly what we cannot do today, what is genuinely in progress, and where to go instead.
Not offered today. An apostille is the certificate the Florida Department of State attaches to a document so another country will accept it. Handling that end to end is its own discipline and we are not certified for it yet, so we would rather say that plainly than take the booking and learn on your deadline.
The notarization underneath it is still ours. If a document is heading overseas, say so when you book: the notarial certificate has to be executed correctly or whatever certification follows it will bounce, and getting that part right is work we can do today.
We do not translate documents, and we do not plan to pretend otherwise. Translation is a separate profession, and a certified translation has to be right or the whole file fails abroad.
If your document needs one, engage a certified translator directly. We notarize signatures. We do not certify that a translation is accurate, and a notary who tells you otherwise is overstepping what a Florida commission allows.

There are two different things people mean by this. Ink fingerprinting on an FD-258 card is the simpler one. Live Scan is electronic submission to FDLE or the FBI, and it requires being an approved provider - not something a notary can simply decide to start doing on a Tuesday.
When that changes, this page will say so. Until then we will tell you plainly that we cannot do it, rather than take a booking we cannot honour.
In progress. The Florida remote commission requires registration with the Department of State, specific training, an approved technology platform and additional bonding. That process is underway.
The moment it is active this page will say so. Until then every signing we do happens in person, which for most estate and international documents is what the receiving party prefers anyway - a surprising number of foreign authorities and title companies still decline remote notarizations outright.
Training in progress, not yet offered. Loan signing is its own discipline. A closing package runs to well over a hundred pages, the lender's instructions are exacting, and a single missed initial can delay funding for a family that has already booked the movers.
We would rather complete the certification properly than learn on someone's closing. When it is ready it will appear here and on the services page, and not a day before.
